It also highlights the dangers of fighting a fire unless one has been trained. The module describes the P.A.S.S. method of operating common fire extinguishers.
This module provides the building operator with the knowledge necessary to carry out legislated daily and monthly fire alarm inspections. The program draws on the requirements of the National Fire Code as well as the Underwriters Laboratory of Canada (ULC) S536. It teaches how to inspect and test various components of the fire alarm system, such as detection, notification, annunciators, batteries, voice communication and other topics.
